One coat renders and plasters

These Saint-Astier® NHL based mortars are durable, water resistant, cost effective as well as visually attractive.
They are available in a variety of colours (see our colours chart) by no means exhaustive and custom colours can be supplied to order.
Application of external renders
Manually applied or sprayed on dampened backgrounds, they are straightened immediately after with little effort and finished the same day (plastic floats, sponge, scraped finishes).
The application thickness varies, depending on the level of exposure (see as follows) and the finish required (see Exterior Finishes).
Exposed areas > minimum 15 mm for floated or sponged finishes. 18-20 mm for scratched finishes.
Moderate and light exposure areas > 10 mm or 15 mm for scratched finishes.

Density > 1450 kg/m3.

For interior Plasters
Plaster directly onto bricks or blocks. When working on different joint surfaces use a mesh at the joints. Background preparation with EcoMortar® BasePlaster R50 might be necessary. Please find more information on Interior Finishes.
