Decofond Ready mix mortar for fine lime finishes

St Astier Natural Hydraulic Limes (NHL)

Backgrounds: most types, including plasterboard and painted surfaces and surfaces of different materials.

Natural colour: light grey.
Consumption: 1.8 kg x m² x mm of thickness
Packing: 15 kg tubs or 30 kg. bags
Shelf life: 6 months in sealed original bag, stored in dry conditions.

Application recommendations.
Water addition:
4.5 to 5 litres per tub of 15 kg.
9 to 10 litres per bag of 30 kg.

On a clean, straight surface, apply a coat of max. 5 mm. When different background materials meet, apply a mesh* over the joint extending 150mm each side.
* Mesh size : 10 x 10 mm.

Coloured fine finishes:
Lime washes: apply when sufficiently dry.
Fresco finishes: apply when still fresh.
Fine finishes: All fine lime mortars finishes are acceptable. Color Chausable EF for steel float or sponge finishes is also acceptable.
Stucco/marmorino type finishes: when dry, use Decoliss (0-0.04mm stucco type St. Astier mortar, see relevant data sheet). This can be finished to a polish by qualified craftsmen.
